ooc: LJ is a pain; Hat Shore is nearing its conclusion
Hello, all! A couple of news items:
LJ notifications are sucking
In case you don't check Status very often (we know we don't), the word is, LJ notifications will be lagging severely for the next week or so.
LiveJournal Status
We are currently upgrading our notification system. Some notifications may be delayed by up to a week. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience while we increase notification efficiency!

HH players are reporting that they're sometimes receiving notifications but that it's unreliable. Many of us rely on LJ notification e-mails to let us know when we've received a tag. It isn't an insurmountable obstacle, but while notifications are unreliable, players are going to need to use whatever workarounds make sense to them. LJ PMs may not be your best bet, unless you check those manually rather than waiting for notification e-mails. Feel free to use the IRC channel - #hogwarts_hocus on ColdFront.net - or check the contact post to see if the folks you're threading with have AIM accounts. There's always direct e-mail as well.
Hat Shore is almost over
The Hat's reality show is going to be drawing to an end within the next couple of weeks. We're estimating one more event along the same lines of Yoda Boot Camp, and then a grand finale. Those characters whose players OOCly want them freed before the end, please e-mail the Hat (kahnooloo at gmail dot com) and the Hat will ICly use its singular vote to vote you off. The rest will be treated to a new and dramatic addition to the house ... Kojiro.
