And Andrew Jackson for referee. Yeah, it just sounded funny to me.

Susan really needs to be involved somehow, as she's made friends with Ari. Is there something like Producer's Assistant/Assistant Director/Hapless Person with Clipboard she can do?

In other news, Rose is pitching in with the rabble-rousing dissenters.

Hm, she could! Ari is reluctant to reveal her complicity with the Hat's manipulations of Hogwarts student life, so I'd have to think of a way that Ari could broach the subject without utterly repelling Susan. Thoughts?

I think if she said that the Hat is forcing her to run this, with the implication that someone else is the one who's really behind it and she just got roped into the whole thing, Susan would be willing to help out, with the goal of "let's make this as painless as possible for everyone involved." Susan can be a bit of a sucker at times...

That might be workable if handled very carefully. It depends how much RP you want to get out of the event(s), too -- an assistant to Ari might not get a lot of RP with people who aren't Ari. There's also the possibility that Ari could ask Susan to be a contestant -- a stabilizing influence on the inside?
