Road was sprawled across a table in the library, surrounded by books and with a wand at her side. Upon finishing with the book she had been skimming, she tossed it carelessly aside and moved onto the next one. A sufficiently cowed house elf caught the book and returned it to the shelf without a word. Those may have been specks of blood upon his tea-towel toga, but then again they may have been ketchup.
"Aha!" exclaimed Road, and suddenly halted her rapid page-flipping. She took a small lollipop from her pocket, and then jabbed the wand at it with a muttered, "Engorgio." Nothing happened, so she repeated her actions again... and again... and again. The 'engorgio's became steadily louder and the wand-jabs steadily more savage. Still she couldn't see any difference, until...
She squinted, trying to figure out whether it was just a trick of the light, or whether the candy's size had increased.
