Kuronue hadn't committed necrophilia yet. Well, he had. Since he was technically dead, and Yukimura was certainly dead. He hadn't done it with an actual corpse, despite having once been interested in how skull fucking worked.

But this guy was definitely dead. He smelt of it, had no body heat when Kuronue not so subtly brushed past him, no heartbeat that he'd become so used to hearing with Yukimura.

"You're an interesting one," he said. "I'm Kuronue."

Shito scowled at the newcomer. He couldn't remember seeing anyone with wings and pointed ears before, not even the Reaper Zarame had them. "What are you?" he asked bluntly.

"Question is, what are you. You have no heartbeat." He tapped his chest. He was tapping in the wrong place for a heart, but the right place for the demon equivalent.

Shito scowled, stepping away. "I didn't say you could touch me. And, I am a zombie," he said. Maybe this nuisance would leave him alone. Many people thought that all zombies wanted was to eat brains or some stupid nonsense like that. All he wanted was to pay off his debt...

...though the idea of being alone again or given back to Toho didn't truly appeal to him. Though he didn't like Akatsuki, or so he told himself and Akatsuki regularly, he had gotten used to being around him.

Kuronue grinned, looking as if he'd just won the lottery. "So I was right," he said, tilting his head.

He tilted his head. "I don't need your permission to touch. Ningenkai law says that corpses have no rights." One has to know the law in order to break them, after all.

Those words were too close. Shito's expression became colder. "Would you like to try and explain to a court that doesn't 'believe' in zombies that a corpse is pressing charges of sexual harassment on you?" he asked. That he'd be taking a winged, pointy-eared thing to court entered his mind and was dismissed as ridiculous, as was his own question.

He thought about it. "Depends on what court."

In Makai, Shito probably could have gone to Raizen to ask a favour, since Mukuro didn't seem to give a shit about such things, and rumour had it that his human lover was similar to Shito anyway. Of course, then, Raizen would be the judge, jury and executioner.

"I'm a demon," he offered, thinking that Shito had answered him well enough, that he really didn't need to tease the poor boy so much.

Demon? He'd been called a demon, a monster, a doll, but those were words meant to hurt him, to remind him that he wasn't human, not that he could ever forget. "You specified 'ningenkai' courts," he said. Not that the courts had much to do with the world he moved in. "Demons have no rights in human courts, either," he pointed out.

"A demon wouldn't allow himself to be kept in Ningenkai prisons unless he was weak and stupid and, Shito, I am neither." He grinned. "In Makai, you wouldn't have any rights, alive or dead. You'd be a tasty, highly sought after, commodity."

It wasn't as if he had many rights now. "I am a commodity," he said flatly. "What does it matter where?" He crossed his arms over his chest. "What do you want?"

He tilted his head, eyes turning from mischievous to purely kind. He...almost felt sorry for him.

"I have to sort you. Personally I think you'd do great in Hufflepuff, or maybe Bitchiwitch, since it sounds like a corpsey kind of place." He smiled.

"I have more important things to do than to stay here," he said. If he were out of contact with Toho too long, there would be punishments again. And, if they didn't make the minimum they needed and beat the A-Loan group, then there would be the complications involved with their contract being rendered void.

Or maybe Ravenclaw, since he seemed to like rules and needed to live and let live a little. He waved a hand. "Your life from before is on hold for the moment, likely no one will know you've gone." Well, it was an estimation from what others had told him anyway. That Vincent guy said he didn't remember being here when he went back to his own world.

Shito frowned. "On hold?" he asked, rubbing his right wrist. Maybe that explained why his arm hadn't started feeling like it was burning with Akatauki not around. He shifted, feeling his socks sliding again. He knelt to pull them up again.

Yep. Ravenclaw. The guy was three steps away from being a nerd already.

"Yes, on hold. I was dead for a couple of centuries or so before I appeared here." He smiled. "It's kind of like a second chance at life."

Shito stood up from fixing his sock. "A second chance? That's what he said about the Zombie loan," he said wryly.
