Kusuriyuri watched, as well, both Boukensha to make sure the cat didn't disturb Kaga and Kaga to make sure he rested comfortably, as comfortably as his wounds would allow. He had ready a mixture that would take any pain, as well as consciousness, but he would wait to see what state Kaga found himself in when he woke. He also had a milder painkiller ready, if that was preferred.
"You are within this one's room, on the couch. It is where Kuronue brought you and it did not seem wise to move you until it was better known how you fared," Kusuriyuri replied. He considered a moment. "Do you recall what happened?" he asked.
"There was someone in the Sorting Room. I didn't catch his name. On the question about the Order, he said he would sexually harass everyone. I voted Squib for that."
He winced. "He confronted me on that, and I told him people like him should be shot. He began attacking himself to prove that he'd heal. I went to leave, because I wouldn't stand a chance against someone like that. The next thing I knew, he stabbed me."
He let his hand fall down. "I remember setting him on fire, and seeing Kuronue, but not much after that."
Kusuriyuri nodded. "Kuronue mentioned that you were not conscious long after he found you. Though," he said, pausing a moment to reach out for Boukensha, stroking the cat's ears, "why is it you told him he should be shot?" he finished.
"Is that so?" Kusuriyuri murmured. He was aware of how Kaga felt about Karasu, how the man had felt victimized and had had a difficult time recovering from that. The question was a normal conversational continuation rather than a challenge. "Kuronue is learning to heal. He was able to stop much of the bleeding before you arrived. Both he and Sanada-san are concerned for you."
Kaga's brow furrowed. "He did? I do not remember that." He remembered Kuronue picking him up, and vague memories of biting down on something, but nothing after that.
"It will take time for your body to heal. There is only so much this one can do at one time with reiki and only so much your body will accept." He tilted his head slightly. "You are in pain? Would you want something?"
Kaga smiled faintly as he closed his eyes and submitted to the face cleaning, his good hand resting on his torso. Idly he wondered how far down the blade had gone: at the worst points, it hurt to breathe.
"I'm sorry," Kaga murmured. He didn't know if he was apologizing to Kusuriyuri for needing his services, or Boukensha for worrying him.
"There is no need to apologize. This one is more than willing to assist, though he would prefer the need not present itself. And, cats will cast their care where they see fit," Kusuriyuri said the last solemnly, teasing both Boukensha and Kaga a little. He did not feel it necessary to tell Kaga, just then, how badly he'd been injured and that Kuronue's treatment had probably kept him alive, or would have had it not been for the no-kill spell.
Kusuriyuri's eyebrow rose at Kaga's laugh. "Are you in much pain? There is medication for you. It is unwise to be in pain if it can be treated," he murmured, gesturing to the cup of tea waiting ready for the addition of the strength of pain medication Kaga would need.

"Kusu?" he asked weakly, not bothering with the full title. "Where am I?"

He opened his eyes again. "How...how bad is it?"

"At least I can't squish you this time, Boukensha."

"He is very fond of you," Kusuriyuri replied. "He only left as needed and returned to your side when he had finished what needed to be done."

He hated this. At least he had burned the man. But he was getting sick of playing the victim in this drama called life.
He laughed as Boukensha cleaned a particularly ticklish spot.
