Hogwarts, Coraline had quickly discovered, was a wonderful place to explore. The castle was so huge and full of unexpected things that she thought she'd never be able to see it all.
At the moment she was standing in front of a painting on the second floor, watching a battle between a knight in silver armour and a huge green dragon. She'd been unsure whether she ought to do something about this, but they'd both noticed her and paused briefly to wave, so she imagined they were enjoying themselves despite appearances.
