The Baron Vladimir Harkonnen was watching an episode of the Maury Povich Show, which was consistently proving a good source for hilarity. There were such bizarre contrasts in Muggle society- on one hand, they had some brilliant technologies, especially in the areas of communication and weaponry. And yet, they couldn't manage to communicate with each other well enough to figure out who their baby's daddies were, and spent most of their time screaming where a couple of well-aimed bullets would have solved all their problems.

He turned down the volume as he heard a knock on his office door, and cast a quick 'alohomora' to open it, turning to greet his visitor. As he saw that it was Basher Tarr, he smiled, beckoning him to come in- presumably, he'd found the goods he'd requested, although the case looked a bit small. Perhaps the rest were elsewhere, since that would have been a lot to carry at once.

"Hello," Basher said, setting the case on the counter. As he pulled out each item he used his wand to enlarge them to their proper size.

"The AK-47s. I managed 22, and seeing as people would rather bugger off than go to class, this should be enough."

He did have enough foresight to set the Dragon down before de-spelling it. "I couldn't find the model rocket launcher you asked for, but I did find an older model still in good condition."

In a case within the case, secured to prevent explosions, were the incendiary grenades. "I could only find six incendiary grenades, so use them wisely."

And the crates he also set on the floor before enlarging them. "And two crates each of the grenades you wanted, and ammo for the rocket launcher and guns."

The Baron smiled appreciatively, both at Basher's haul and his transportation magic, which appeared very convienient. He hadn't actually expected Basher to fulfill his entire request- he'd deliberately overstated his requirements to be certain they were actually met. He accio'd a pouch from a nearby cabinet, followed by a second one ( ... )

Basher shrugged as he pocketed the money. "I suppose that proves that you can't get more effective than that, then," he said, gesturing to the AK-47.

"Unfortunately, that means gun mechanics have peaked. You're going to let the students fire off guns?"
