Unofficial prefect elections betting pool!
A notebook appears on a table in the Great Hall next to a large box inscribed with colorful and also highly magical-looking runes.
The first page of the notebook reads:
This is the betting pool for this year's prefect nominations. On the next page you will find a list of the nominees. Please write your name down next to the person you are hoping wins the election, then write down the amount you are betting. Please place the money in the conveniently available box beside this notebook. Note that any attempt to absc ond with money already in the box or to take the box in any way will result in a nasty electrical shock. That's what's so cool about runes.
The next page contains a list of the current nominees

Please remember that betting results may not reflect actual votes during the polls. Your characters also need not bet on people from their own houses if they don't want to.
