Punishment ((Closed RP, Kusuriyuri/Kurama))

Enough time had passed since the encounter with Karasu (and subsequent unhappy conversation with Yukimura) that Kurama had let his guard down and his mind slip to the point where Inari's impending punishment wasn't anymore at the forefront of his mind.

Kusuriyuri had been in his office, studying for his next lesson, when a change in what he felt of Kurama's energy had him leaving the room. He wasn't sure what it was, just that it wasn't the normal flow of energy. Something was wrong, but it eluded him just what. He left Boukensha behind in the office to find his own way back to the apartment, ignoring the cat's protests.

Leaving the main entrance, his feet barely touched the stairs as he ran to the greenhouses. "Itoshii?" he said as soon as Kurama was in sight. What had happened that had Kurama looking so...defeated? He held the questions, reaching out silently with his hand and energy for his lover.

Kurama had made it far enough into their room to sit on the floor with his back against the bed, legs drawn up and his forehead resting on his knees. His arms were crossed over his stomach, but when Kusuriyuri entered the room, he lifted a hand, reaching out to his lover quietly. It was too much effort to move any energy right now, even moving his hand was a trial.

Kusuriyuri moved to kneel next to Kurama, taking his hand. "Itoshii?" he whispered again, leaning his forehead against Kurama's head. It took a moment for him to wrap his arm around Kurama, concern, habits, the need to know what happened and his desire to examine Kurama all warring to take prescience.

He squeezed Kusuriyuri's hand numbly. "Inari came today," he murmured softly.
