It's an odd situation when Matt's not playing videogames or hacking, but there he was, petting a sleeping Koopa.

When he almost let his pride lose his relationship with L, he vowed never to let that happen again. Cause L meant more to him than anything. And he's greedy.

So Matt's waiting in his room for L, petting Koopa a bit nervously.

L returned to their room from the library. He'd managed to hide well enough not to run into anyone this time. Either that, or those he was avoiding for now weren't there. He looked at Matt curiously when he saw the redhead not playing a video game. "Is everything okay?" he asked.

Matt looked up. "Oh, no, everything's fine. Or going to be. Hopefully." Matt tried to say more, but got a little tongue tied. "I...well, I...."

L tilted his head curiously. "You?" he asked.

"Ah fuck it." Matt pulled out something in his pocket, and after fiddling with it to get it open (and ignoring the voice in the back of his head that suspiciously sounded like Roger telling him not to use his teeth as tools), got it open and held up a strawberry flavored Ring Pop.

"LLawlietwillyoumarryme?" Matt said in a rush, turning red and trying not to look too worried.
