Closed RP for Silmeria and Lezard
A pawn took another pawn. A knight took the bishop. A queen took the king. Finally.
Silmeria sat crosslegged on her bed, a pile of white and black chess pieces on either side of her and a checkered board in front of her. A glance out the window revealed a darkened sky. After practicing for more than a month, Silmeria felt decently capable of winning a game. She had not gone to Lezard a great deal during that past month; unlike chess, she had not given much thought to when she had passed control to Lezard for an evening. It would not be a regular occurance, she told herself. Yet, why had she not gone back to him, if that were so?
And why should their next meeting be of that, at any rate? She tapped the board in thought. Decisively, she collected the pieces onto the board, which folded and acted as their case. She tucked the board under her arm and searched for a re-match. Surely, Lezard was good for other things as well.
