First Christmas (closed RP, Kusuriyuri, Kurama)

Kusuriyuri had never had a Christmas before. There was the Summer Christmas, but he found this winter Christmas somehow more fulfilling. He should have been studying, but instead, he created a picture for Kurama. His lesson would be slightly delayed, but he felt it was worth it. The astrolabe Kurama gave him was both beautiful and functional

Kurama slipped quietly into their room, watching Kusuriyuri for a moment and knowing full well his lover had noticed his approach long before he'd entered the actual room.
"Merry Christmas," he greeted.

"Merry Christmas," Kusuriyuri echoed, slowly turning to face Kurama, almost as if he were waking. "Is all well, Shirogitsune?" he asked, holding out his hand to Kurama, inviting the kitsune to join him for tea.

"All is very well," he grinned, taking Kusuriyuri's hand and sitting down next to him. "Thank you."

"I am pleased," Kusuriyuri murmured. "And, thank you," he added, pouring Kurama some tea, a simple genmaicha.
