Must have picked the wrong portal to the human world. Armo Justin, or Justin Armonia...ah screw it, the jeweled skull, said it was ok for him to go into the human world for a little while to tail a victim. He just wanted to be through

The only shinigami Mikami actually met was Ryuk, of course. He doesn't even know for sure that Sidoh is connected to his world. Presumably, other universes could have other versions of the shinigami realm, and Sidoh hasn't mentioned anything to do with Kira on the form.

"Wow he does get around. I won't ask if you guys are buddies, I'm not really allowed to."

"Well, if you were to ask, I would inform you that we're definitely not - buddies." Although Mikami is officially a Death Note owner, and Ryuk gave it to him. This doesn't mean they get along.

That answered his question enough. Wow, Ryuk did piss a lot of people off here.

"If you're here, I suppose you have to be Sorted. Have the houses been explained to you yet?"

"Umm I don't think that has been explained to me. Sorting huh, it doesn't hurt does it?"

"...no. It simply determines where you'll li- where you'll stay while you're here. There are four House dormitories. Ravenclaw is for those who value intelligence, Slytherin for the ambitious, Gryffindor for the brave and Hufflepuff for the loyal and hard-working."
