(I've been in contact with the muns of the Death Note characters Sidoh has come in contact with and gotten their ok)

Wow, this guy didn't sound too happy. It took Sidoh a second to remember what he was talking about.

"Oh, jeez, you were one of the cops that stormed the mafia. Wait...you're dead? Uhh, then why are you...oh you're a ghost aren't you." He visibly shivers and backs away.

He's still not buying this guy's not a ghost, but he looks human enough, it's enough to make Sidoh relax a bit.

"Let me guess, you lost your Death Note and Ryuk took it, correct?" An idea was forming in Soichiro's head. Ryuk still had his own Death Note when they met briefly. The one they locked up was Rem's. Then there was Kira's. Sidoh said they were going after his Death Note.

Could it be that Sidoh's Death Note was the one Light used?

If a shinigami was capable of blushing, Sidoh was doing it now. Having his Death Note taken was kind of an embarrassing subject.

"Ahhhh...yeeeah...that's kinda what happened...well....yeah that's what happened." Sidouh scratches his head with one of his elongated fingers and shifts uncomfortably.

"Uhhh, ummm" Sidoh really didn't know what to say. This human was definitely pissed off, and apparantly pissed off at him. "Weeell if you want to be technical Ryuk was the one who stole my notebook."Could he say that, well he wasn't saying what human the Death Note belonged to so maybe it was ok. He wasn't bursting into flames so that was a good sign. "Light...Light...now who's Light?."
A name several thousand names back, maybe and Sidoh was lucky if he could remember his own.

That was the second time he'd heard the term "squib." That didn't sound like fun.
