Open RP - The Joys of Technology
Brienne did not understand technology. Mostly, in fact, it rather baffled her. But she had participated on a thread on the Hogwartsnet, and, the weather being more or less not amenable to doing any kind of physical workout outside, she was in the compy lab, frowning intently at the screen, trying to play Duck Guardian. On the face of it, it didn't seem hard. You just moved the mouse (she didn't know why it was called a mouse as it did not have any mouselike properties), and pressed the correct letter. Unfortunately, while Brienne had excellent hand/eye coordination, she sucked at the whole typing thing. After all, typing was not a necessary skill in Westeros.
She was playing the game with the intense concentration with which she did everything else, the kind of concentration normal people devoted to such activities as defusing bombs or, you know, herding actual ducks into a spaceship.
Anyway, she still sucked at the game, and every time she managed to get a duck into her spaceship, she would take the opportunity for a moment's exultation and her concentration would be lost.
