Mikami had been practicing cleaning charms. The main difficulty with this, in his opinion, was not performing the spells themselves. Most of them were fairly simple. The trouble was that in order to practice them, he had to deliberately get himself dirty.
He knew, intellectually, that he'd got all the ink off. His technique was fine. He just didn't feel clean, which is why he was in the Hufflepuff bathrooms washing his hands properly, with soap and water.
He wasn't particularly concerned about anything except that, at the moment. Yes, he had some bad memories of high school bathrooms. But those days were behind him now. He was perfectly safe here.
