Naomi had been listening and taking notes, but as the cage opened she moved quickly from her seat and replaced quill with wand. Taking aim first at those pixies furthest from other students, she settled into a continuous chant of "stupefy."

Soichiro swore and began stupefying himself, at least until they took his glasses.

"Okay. THAT is not funny."

Naomi turned and saw a plunder-bearing pixie. She aimed. "Accio glasses."

They began to move across the room, dragging the pixie behind them, and she tossed off another stunner before diving for the glasses, which had started to fall with her concentration on the summoning broken. She came up with them in her left hand and looked around for the owner.

Okay, so he didn't really need them, because if he and the mun recall correctly, shinigami eyes give the owner extremely good vision. He's just...attached to his glasses. It's a bit left over from his old life, before this Kira fiasco.

She glanced down at them. "I think - stupefy," directed toward one that was getting too close for comfort, and she began to make her way across the room, continuing to keep watch on the remaining swarm. "I think they are."

"Thank you." He put the glasses back on, then turned with a glare to the pixies.

Let me put it this way, the last time he glared so hard was when he was facing down Mello.

"Stupefy," two pixies went down.

A pixie dive-bombed, seemingly intent on her hair. Naomi stunned it, then returned to the somewhat rhythmic pattern of hexing.
