The plaque really did read 'Minaminaminamino.' Kurama was unsure whether to feel defeated or amused, and settled for a happy medium between both

"I am quite at home," Kurama responded, "though hardly as glamourous as is usually befitting." He gestured to the state of his clothes - covered in dirt, grease, dust and mulch, the same stuff grimed all over his face and hands. "I wouldn't do this in a kimono."
Yukimura laughs appreciatively. "No, not a kimono. Perhaps a yukata." He steps into the room. "And, really, hair as nice as yours is should be bound up under a kerchief when working like this," he chides.
Yukimura glances around. "So, this is...a greenhose?" he murmurs. With a shrug, he turns back to Kurama. "I'm not a gardener, but there is still much to do? I have two good hands," he says, holding them out with a laugh.
"Huh, good point..." he had a rose vine unwrap at the base of his neck, pulling his hair up into a ponytail.
"Yes, this is one of several. The first-year students will mostly be studying in here, with some of the less-lethal magical plants. The last professor didn't seem to have the know-how for running a place like this. Here," he handed Yukimura a hand rake and pointed to the bed he'd just finished clearing. "If you would, help me turn the soil here. I'll start at this end, you start there."
Yukimura took the rake. He knew how to turn soil. He'd hidden enough from his duties enough to know. "How does it work, this greenhouse?" he asks while working. They don't exist when he's from.
"The materials this place is built with allow heat to stay trapped inside during cold weather, and allow for a controlled growing environment other times of the year. Since it's Summer now, I'll keep the doors open so clean air can circulate. That way the plants grow as they normally would in this season, but I can control how much water and soil nutrients they get, and they're protected from insects and blight." His hands worked steadily as he spoke, turning and airing the soil.
"Some greenhouses can be built to grow specific plants. The one next door to here I'm going to modify so I can experiment with growing tea leaves."
Yukimura worked steadily, though not with the ease of practice Kurama had. He listens to the explanation. "Tea requires a cooler climate. How does that work?" he asks. He can feel the trapped heat, but he offered to help, so he'll keep helping, even if he can't keep pace with Kurama.
"I'll have to modify the materials, do a little rebuilding, and maybe a few spells to thin the atmosphere inside. I suppose I'll have to start using runes or charms or something to do so, but it should be an interesting study," in fact, he was looking forward to just that. Dumbledore had mentioned that learning said magical types were beneficiary, and he was inclined to trust him, even if they hadn't spoken since his sorting.
Yukimura blinked. "Sounds rather complicated. Though, with this school's lack of decent tea, I could see why you'd try." He'd been quite baffled that a school that boasted such fine sake had such miserable taste in tea. "Not even a decent genmaicha," he grumbled.
"That will all be solved in due time. I'm half tempted to speed-grow half of the plants so we'll have something suitable to drink," though he preferred to let them grow naturally. He only cheated with the plants in his mother's garden back home. "And it'll be fun to see how well the experiment works. If I ever do manage to go back home, I can recreate the effects there. Maybe even build a business around it."
"Sake is good to drink, but one cannot survive on it alone," Yukimura laughs and then leans in with a wink, "Though, none of my companions would believe I said that." He returns to his work. "There is little, I'm sure, that you could not do, given half a mind to."
"Sounds utterly foolish," Yukimura laughed. "I wouldn't know why you would want to do that." He looks around and then whispers, "I never learned pottery myself. Once had a pot explode and almost destroy the kiln." His eyes twinkle with mischief.
