As he came into the room, he suddenly came to a full stop a couple of feet from Tylendel. His face was a sickly paper white, and his jaw had dropped. " 'Lendel?" he managed to ask, his voice faint in shock. One shaky hand was reaching out towards the other boy, stopping just short of touching him.

"Van, ashke," he said, voice soothing and hands reaching to touch his lover, "you're a mess, peacock; you look like you've seen a ghost!"
