Something to make ink with. A was glad to be able to do something for Matt, and berries would do for a simple ink and tasty. Also, blackberry leaves and roots had astringent and diuretic properties.
But A had no money, and wouldn't really feel at ease going out alone even if he did. L had already taken him more than once; perhaps it would be better to ask Kusuriyuri? Especially since Matt wanted the ink for his lessons.
Asking for a favor was intimidating, but he had told Matt he would plant whatever he asked for. So A made his way to Kusuriyuri's room and knocked, a little hesitantly.
