[[This Walter is taken from about midway through Silent Hill 4, mainly because I go with a certain fan theory that Walter and the younger verson of Walter seen around the game split into two people after the attempt on victim 20/21, and I'm going to use both as one. Plus I wouldn't want to deal with what ending to pull him from had I taken him from

"O-kay," Demyx muttered to himself. "That falls under the category of 'too creepy for words'." Still, he couldn't help but ask... "What happened to eleven?"

"You're looking at eleven. Suicide." Creepy? Yes, and insane.

Of course I am. I wondered if I was actually going to run into a genuine psycho. "So. Uh. How'd you manage to kill somebody after you died?" Demyx asked, inwardly cursing his morbid curiosity.

"Naturally, I came back to life to do that. Do I look like a ghost to you?"

Okay, so this isn't Walter's real body, but at least he doesn't float about like the other victims.

Demyx laughed. Just for a moment, there seemed to be a peculiarly hollow tone to it. "There's other states besides 'living', 'dead', and 'ghost', y'know." Considering that Demyx was one that didn't even exist in Walter's world...

"The living, the dead, the spirits, and the non exsistant. Is there anymore?"

Everyone starts out non exsistant before entering the world of the living, so Walter can understand that.

"There are plenty of solid types of undead," Demyx pointed out, skirting around the point. "And... have you ever heard of the Heartless?" Though I guess Nobodies'd fall under "the nonexistent", wouldn't we?

"I suppose I might not be concidered alive to some." It's a lot easier to draw people into Walter's world than to leave it.

"I've heard of hearless people, but not heartless as a state of exsistance."

"See, that's kinda what I figured.

"The Heartless are..." Demyx waved a hand vaguely. "They come from the darkness in a person's heart - not always human, I know I've seen Heartless animals. But they've got this nasty habit of making sure there's more of them - they steal hearts to create new Heartless. And... sometimes..." He sighed. "Sometimes there's something left behind."

"Something left behind?" he parrots.

Walter has left an item at the crimescene for every one of his victims, but those are just ordinary things from the person or the murder weapon itself. The way Demyx says it makes it sound significant to something.

"Heartless are made from the heart. Normally the soul and the body just fade away, but sometimes..." Demyx grinned ironically. "There's somebody left over that doesn't exist." He stuck out a hand. "Nice to meet you, Walter. I'm nobody, otherwise known as Demyx."

Walter shakes his hand, "Nice to meet you too, Demyx."

"So, you were a left over?" Since he introduced himself as nobody.

"Yep. Nobodies, the nonexistent ones. Some stupid kid gave up his heart to the darkness, and I'm the result."

Demyx shook his head. "But enough about my problems. You're the one being Sorted here." He hesitated. "Has anyone warned you that there's a no-kill rule on campus? And a spell to back it up?"

"I've been informed that there is no killing allowed here, but not that it was inforced by a spell." He thinks for a moment. "What would happen if someone were fatally injured?"

"I'd think probably somebody feeling altruistic'd take them to the Hospital Wing. Or the house elves would." Demyx had been trampled by Feegles once, but he'd passed out, so he didn't see who moved him. "But yeah."
