With L being unexpectedly taken from the castle, giving A a task where he was required to think and lead a bit seemed a good idea, especially coupled with getting him out for a while. He seemed to be jumping at everything more than usual and Kusuriyuri, for all his patience with his student, was ready to give him some Valerian just to calm him

Even though he knew Kusuriyuri would be coming by, the knock startled A. He was ready though, in a pair of loose cotton pants and the baggy blue dress with the large pockets, an alert kitten riding in each.

The message had been a bit vague about where they were going, and A expected more lessons on medicinal plants.

"Yes, hello," he said a bit anxiously, when he opened the door. "I'm dressed and ready."

A little surprised at not having to answer a series of questions, Kusuriyuri blinks. "We are to go to the village for wands. You are ready?" he asks gently. And, given that he wears a kimono and carries his medicine chest, he is unlikely to criticize A's clothing choices, except for, "The kittens will be alright going with us?"

"Wands?" That does startle A. "Do you need more than one? I only have one."

He scritches each kitten behind its respective ears. "I know a spell to retrieve them if they wander."

"I told you we would be having someone join us. A young man by the name of Light-kun. He is new here." He reaches over and gently brushes the kittens' noses, amused when Schrodinger moves so he's rubbing her forehead. "He seems to be nice."
