It takes a while for A to wriggle out of the spell-cords binding him, but they were loosened enough to make it possible. Wriggle out of the bonds, try to restore order to his clothing... oh, he's a mess, a mess (especially his bleeding hip, the blood seeping to stain his pants), but there's one thing he has to do.
