And here he was, enjoying his time with Attempt.

Well, now, that won't do. That won't do at all.

B hasn't had fun in years. He had to make up time.

But A was proving quite elusive, which was why Beyond was reading a book on how to track people.

Tracking people wasn't what A was looking for information on, no, not at all. But books were useful, books were good, yes, and he liked books, surely? So A could try to discover more about where he'd found himself, and maybe see him as well.

Which is why he was looking around the room in general, rather than specifically where he was going.

Here Beyond was looking for a way to find A, and A falls right into his lap.

Beyond crept to the floor, crawling almost on his belly until he was behind A. Rising, he got close enough that A could feel that there was someone behind him.

It was so sudden, the feeling of breath on the back of his neck, the filthy crawling sensation of someone else's body heat so close, that who else could it be? So A swirled around, stumbling backward and almost falling over a chair in the process.

"No, no, B. Not good, Backup, not nice."

"Can't I just say hello, Attempt? Without Lawliet looking over our shoulder?" Beyond uprighted the chair and crouched in it. "Sit, Attempt, sit."
