After a shower, a good night's sleep and another awkward meeting, Jaime managed to get some breakfast and make his way to the Owlery without further incident.
It took a while to bribe a couple of owls down - it was still kind of early and they wanted nothing to do with him - but he finally coaxed a couple down.

I finally got sorted into Gryffindor, and someone gave me directions to the Owlery. Is the tour guide offer still open? Let me know; I can find my way to the Great Hall, and that's probably a good place to meet.

The Hat kind of rush-sorted me into Gryffindor there, so we didn't get a chance to finish talking. You want to meet up sometime and compare notes? If any of my owls make it back home, I sent a letter to my friend Nadia - she's the one to go to if you want to find that kind of stuff out. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll send something back.
