[App] Wishbone, from Wishbone

A Jack Russell Terrier was rolling around a little bit when he suddenly sat up at feeling cold stone. He sniffed around a bit, ran around a bit, and jumped up on the table. He nudged the Dictaquill, which sprang to life.

Oh!Wishbone thought. The Dictaquill wrote that down. Also the 'hmmmm' he thought after that. Then it pointed at the application.

((Hurrah for Wishbone! I know there are book forms of Nemo's movie; feel free to have Wishbone recognize him. For reference, Nemo is in the fishtank from the dentist's office, all by himself, though he has added various other decorations that he has received from Hogwarts friends. And his pets, and the house elf who pulls his tank on a sled.))

Nemo grinned. Here was another animal-person!

"Hi!" he said. The tribble in a cage hanging from the tank chirped happily, while Orca, Nemo's pet cat, lashed his tail, uncertain about the new arrival.

"My name is Nemo," Nemo said. "Can you tell me a story? Then we could be friends! I like stories. My friend Pippi tells good ones!"

((Yes, Nemo's friend Pippi is Pippi Longstocking.))

Wishbone began to wag his tail. Oh joy! He remembered seeing this fish in a book! He set his paws on the fish tank.

Okay! Is there a particular one you'd like to hear?

[nemofound]

Nemo looked confused.

"I don't know their names. Can you pick one?"

[woocha]

Mmmm....how about The Prince and the Pauper?

[nemofound]

"Okay," Nemo said, and swam down to let the tentacles of his anemone tickle his fins. He looked up a moment later.

"It's not a scary story, is it?"

((Oh, yeah. Nemo also has a pint-size anemone which he brought with him to keep from getting homesick. And to hide in when he is afraid. Which is not now. Now, he is just hangin' out.))

Oh, no! It's about a prince and an orphan who look exactly alike, and how they switch places!

[nemofound]

"Cool!" Nemo exclaimed. He settled down on a bit of current, lazily trailing his fins in the bubbles from his automatic tank filter, and waited for Wishbone to begin.

And Wishbone told the story, which he made very interesting, but I'm not about to type it all.

Now how was that, Nemo?

[nemofound]

"Wow," Nemo said. "That's a very brave story. So you should be in Gryffindor with me!"

Nemo paused and thought. This was not a story about Wishbone himself - it must have come from somewhere else. "How do you know the stories?" he asked.
