"It’s very sensible of you to worry about them, but they do make a shot for cooties," Sandra said, smiling. "My husband and I both got ours years ago."

Molly giggled. "Do they really? Maybe that's why married people don't have cooties. What's your dog's name?" she asked, looking at the fluffball.

"Oh, sure. Quick and painless! Just a 'circle circle dot dot'," Sandra recited, tracing the proper amount of circles and dots on Molly's arm with her index finger. She grinned, teasing. "There. You're all set. Now you can marry any boy you want."

"This is Mr. Muggles." She held the Pomeranian out, who sniffed at Molly with marked interest possibly determining if she was of any use to The Plan. "Would you like to hold him?"

Molly laughed. By her reckoning, all boys were still Icky, but it was good to know that when she grew up she'd be immunized.

"Can I?" she asked, reaching to pet the dog. She'd only ever seen pictures of Pomeranians--they really were big balls of fluff, with feet.

"Of course. He's very friendly."

This was not true. Mr. Muggles’ friendliness was purely an act. Sure, he'd bark and yip on command, because the reward was coupling with some fine Pomeranian bitches for breeding purposes. Sandra got to carry him around because, well, she was pretty smokin' for an older lady. Outside of Sandra, very few people got to hold Mr. Muggles. Claire, Ted, Mr. Bennet, and Sylar...they all had power. They could factor into his master plan.

..and so could Molly. He gave a 'friendly' yip of encouragement as Sandra dropped him gently into Molly's arms. Excellent.

Sandra, wholly unaware of her pup's rather nefarious monologue, was more concerned with why a girl Molly's age was on her own in a foreign country. "So we're both pretty far away from home, huh?"

Molly, also unaware of the dog's thoughts, grinned as she let him settle onto her lap, stroking his fluffy hair. "Hi, Mr. Muggles," she said, petting the little fuzzy head.

"Where did you come from, before you were here?" she asked--the woman sounded like she was from America, too. "I was in New York, but I lived in California before that."

Mr. Muggles nuzzled Molly back in return. Muwhaha. She was somewhat adorablepetting with the grain, and that was always appreciated. He made a mental note to add her to the list of 'people that get to live' following his inevitable world conquest.

"I think he likes you, Molly." Hm. Mr. Muggles was friendly, but not usually this friendly. Sandra was pleasantly surprised - what a welcome change! "I'm from Texas, born and raised. Is this your first time out of the country?"

"Texas?" The word conjured up cowboys and bulls and really big steaks. "What's it like there? Is it really really hot?" She smiled, still petting Mr. Muggles. He looked almost too cute to be real. "Yeah, I've never been out of America before. Until I went to New York, I'd never been out of California."
