Again! Again! (semi-open RP for Tinky Winky and Elan!)

May 18, 2007 15:37

Tinky Winky wandered the corridors of Hogwarts, disconsolate at thoughts of Dipsy conjured up by his encounter with the sparkly Mary-Sue vampire who had refused his offer of Tubby Custard. As he wandered, the Narrator chided him.

"Time for Tubby night-night."

"Noooooooooo," said Tinky Winky.

"Time for Tubby night-night."

"Noooooooooo."

"Explore, explore, explore the confusing old castle in some kind of alternate dimension!" Elan sang as he wandered through Hogwarts. Coming from a universe governed by The Player's Handbook fantasy cliche, he didn't find Hogwarts' scope odd in the slightest. He didn't even find its oddities odd.

Well, he did, otherwise he wouldn't know they were oddities. But it'd be even odder if it wasn't odd. Or something. Elan felt he needed Vaarsuvius about to explain it properly.

Somehow Elan failed his spot check (possibly due to the complex nature of the song he was singing) and practically ran into Tinky-Winky.

"..." It appeared to be a squishy purple ogre of some kind. No sneak attack for Elan! There was nothing to do but wait for the other player to take their roll to see what would happen.

"Noooo-" Tinky Winky stopped in mid-negation. There was an enchanting song! And then the song stopped!

Tinky Winky flailed his stubby purple arms. "Again! Again!" he demanded.

"Tinky Winky wanted to hear the song again," the Narrator translated.

Well, that was unexpected. Elan gaped.

"You... want to hear it again?" Nobody ever wanted to hear his songs again! Unless he'd started crying.

Maybe crying improved his singing, or something.

Tinky Winky began to dance about in a disturbingly hip-waggling fashion. "Again! Again!"

The Narrator confirmed the request. "Tinky Winky really wanted to boogie down to the blond bard's happening tunes."
