JD slapped at his tickling nose, waking himself up in a start. He gave a quiet yawn before spotting Jack's ass pointing straight at him. It said something about them that the first thing JD said was, "...Jack? Are you wearing underpants?"
Jack nodded, well what use was that when he was half in the wardrobe so it couldn't be seen. He realised. "Yes, I also have a tail!" He wriggled his ass to show off the new acquisition. "Ah ha!" He sat up, revealing he had the ears on, back still to JD holding in his hands (or should that be paws?) a rather fancy looking egg. "Sleep well?"
JD grinned as he took in the tail, then grinned further as he took in the tail and the ass. "Nice." he said, grinning at the ears now. "Waking up's better." JD stole a quick look downwards again.
"You know I know where you're looking." Jack didn't even bother turning around yet, he was just being an awful tease being on the other side of the their room. Slowly he looked over his shoulder with a more than knowing smirk. "I found it!" He turned round properly still sitting on the floor and held the egg up to JD. "Trouble is will you share or do I just keep it?" He stood up, stretching his back slightly from being bent over looking though the boxes.
JD grinned and flushed a little, and gave Jack another smile as he turned around. "I'll share, I'll share!" he cried, laughing, then admiring the effect Jack had when he stood up.
JD grinned and took in the egg with an awed breath. He held it and beamed, then looked back up at Jack. "Do you come with?" he asked, smirking a little.
JD grinned and lay down to the side a little so that he could look at Jack. "That you put them to shame? Or the bit where they're cute and fluffy?" he asked, smiling.
"I put them to shame?" He wrinkled his nose up and closed his eyes. "Never." He pointed to the egg. "Might wanna put that to the side. I was thinking about doing what everyone says bunnies do best..."
JD laughed. "And that's where you put them to shame..." JD put the egg on the drawers beside the bed and did his best puppy dog eyes. "Don't you want yours first?"
JD grinned triumphantly and leaned over the side of the bed, doing a less graceful version of what Jack had been doing when he woke, and reached for a box under the bed. Grinning again, JD held out a box, containing a large Egg with coloured segments, and something wrapped at the bottom.
Jack shuffled so he was sitting, still careful of his tail. He righted his ears again so they weren't quite so far forwards before taking the egg. "See how can I compete? What's that?"
JD laughed and quickly sneaked a kiss. "There's no way I can beat the bunny outfit." he said, lifting out the wrapped thing. "This," he said, pulling off the wrapping, "Is a present that we'll need to use sometime soon. This weekend, soon." he said with a grin, holding out the blue dog collar with a small, spaceship-shaped, empty name tag.
"We're getting another dog!" Jack could help but grin he was happy about it, he set the egg and collar next to JD's on the side, then moved up to give him a hug. "Can't wait!"He then kissed him, ears slipping forwards but he caught them with a hand and pushed them back up.
