Push and Pull: Sirius and Lily (Closed RP)
((Takes place in the wee hours of the night just after this. Now containing R-rated material.))
Sirius had let Lily go, just as she had asked, after they had fought over the way his convictions about James's impending return were cockblocking them. But she hadn't come home. It was already well past 2 AM, and while Sirius trusted her when she said she wasn't leaving him, she hadn't come back yet, and he was worried. And feeling horrible and guilty. The motorbike ride had helped clear his head, but as more time passed without the sound of the suite door opening and Lily walking in, he felt worse and worse.
Well, she had to sleep sometime, he reasoned, and if she wasn't sleeping in their suite, then maybe she had gone back to her old room in Ravenclaw. He went over there to check on her, but all he found were boxes of men's clothing and other assorted items...and a sex swing. Figuring she had given her room over to Robin or something, he left and went to the next most likely place she'd be, which was the library. Not one of his favourite places, but he had gone in there in times of need before...and this certainly counted as a time of need.
The twin scents of aged parchment and dust filled his nose as he wound through the stacks, looking for a head of thick red hair. Finally, at a table near the Restricted section, he saw her bent over an open book, or perhaps some parchment. It was hard to tell, and frankly he didn't care.
For a moment, he just watched, and then he took a deep breath and said in a quiet voice, "Hey."
