Definitely Ravenclaw, and could you show me the Vulcan nerve pinch on someone that isn't me?

Thank you. I believe Ravenclaw will present many opportunities for research and intelligent debate.

If you will procure a volunteer, I will demonstrate the nerve pinch at your convenience.

You're welcome!

Hm... *considers* Is it painful? I'll be easier to get volunteers if I can promise it'll be a painless process.

Performed by an expert, the only pain suffered is a slight soreness in the shoulder. One must take care that the subject does not injure himself when he falls, however.

I would not recommend that you practice on a friend. A nerve pinch by a novice may have no effect, or... a slightly stronger one than anticipated.

Ah. Well, let's see - in that case, next applicant with a poor bribe can be dragged back here for you to demonstrate, okay?

That seems the most efficient solution. *stands patiently, very straight, hands clasped behind his back*

((Heh. Good idea!))

There. I asked one of the new applicants for a servant to work with. *notes pose and tilts head* Doesn't that hurt after a while?

((*snickers* And trust him to get a servant instead of an applicant proper, just to make sure he doesn't gain a future enemy. XD))

*Spock eyes the unwashed primitive with some distaste* This man will suit our purposes admirably.

Mr. Teatime and the Sorting Hat have also indicated interest in this demonstration. Would you prefer to keep the subject for your own practice, or shall we wait for the other gentlebeings? *seems to have forgotten that he is speaking about a sentient being and not a lab animal*

Proper posture is good for the spine, Mr. Ryuuji. And the soul.

((Oh, yeah, he's Slytherin sneaky all right! ;) Should we knock this poor peon out and wake him up only to knock him out again? Or should I get the others to fetch multiple victims? *g*))

Oh, they can join us. I asked if he could change it to five, actually, so hopefully we'll have another four heading along soon as well.

*straightens up, just like his father taught him to, palms pressed against his sides* I'm a little too used to posing for the cameras, I guess.

((*snickers* That's why he's Prefect. And Ryuuji cleverly asked for more, so they can take turns practicing and wait for them to wake up though he wouldn't object to the others contributing victims as well.))

*Spock is impressed.* Most foresightful of you, Mr. Ryuuji.
