OPEN RP: Tam vs Maturin, in the mudpit.
Owls went out to Chance Silvey and Perry Cox:
Chance: Call this crazy, but I need a favor. I'm dueling Stephen for honor and family, and I need a second. I can't ask my sister for obvious reasons, and you're the closest I've gotten to anyone here at the school. Would you do the honors? -- Simon
Cox:
I have need of a second for a duel of the mudpit variety, not the drinking variety. Drinking we may have later if you like. Will you do me the honor?

Their seconds having been duly summoned, the principal parties found their own way to the mudpit, there to wait impatiently. This match had been a long time in the making.
"It may take them some time to prepare. We ought to have brought more food with us," said Stephen to Simon. By now he had finally mastered the temperature-changing charm Lily had once tried to teach him for the purpose of making Evil Clown Repellant, and had been able to thaw the mudpit to a usable gloopy consistency. It required an expenditure of considerable energy, which would put him at a disadvantage in the duel, but he hardly cared. He was not going to let this opportunity slip by.
This opportunity ... to mudwrestle ... with his brother-in-law. Yes. Well. With a no-kill rule, pistols at twenty paces would be rather pointless. The mudpit was a Hogwarts dueling tradition.
So was drinking in the mudpit. Perhaps Cox would think to bring some Firewhisky.
