Rose,

Well, you know me, can't just sit on my arse all day. I'm in trouble, aren't I?

Meet me up in the tower, like usual (astronomy, I mean)?

Rather than send a reply owl to confirm his suspicions (of course he was in trouble, duh) Rose shoved the scrap of parchment in her pocket and left the library, heading up to the Astronomy Tower. Anyone who observed her on the way would think her deeply lost in thought, to judge by her pensive expression and teeth busily worrying at her lower lip.

Reaching the door of the classroom, she heaved a sigh and straightened, debated knocking, and then just pushed the door open, craning her neck around.

"Doctor?"

"Oh! You got here before me. Sorry, was just down, out, about, around. Let's go with 'around' there." Oh, he knew he was in trouble, of course, but he had to ask anyway. Knowing this fact, he didn't seem entirely happy, but he went in after Rose and shut the door.

"So, um...that serious talking thing, what's this all about?"

Rose blinked as he walked up behind her - not what she had expected.

"I walked fast," she muttered, watching the Doctor close the door after the both of them. Fidgeting with the crumpled bit of parchment from his reply in her pocket, she frowned.

"Jack," she said simply. "Why didn't you tell me about Jack? And don't," she said firmly, "pretend you don't know what I'm talking about."
