*A small spaceship that appears to be made out of cardboard flies into the room. It lands upright on a chair, and the front opens to allow what appears to be a foot-high astronaut out.* I told them I could get that hovercraft motor to work.

A TV set held aloft by hydraulic arms rolls into the Sorting Room on a skateboard, and stops in front of Buzz. The screen snaps to life with a crackle and*pop* and a Head appears.

"Hai-Hai-Hail fellah well met! HhEeEeEeE!!!!1!1!

Who's. Who's. Who's. Who's Andy?" The Head on the screen looks from side to side. "Izzee here? AaAaNnDdYyYyY!!!!1!11!"

*Buzz jumps and reflexively activates his laser. Good thing it's just a lightbulb, huh?*

Andy's the kid I belong to. I hope he's not here - we've been trying our hardest to make sure he doesn't know we're alive.

The Head nods. "Edison's the kid I be-be-belong to. He doesn't think. think. think. I'm alive either. HaAaAaH! Silly bo-bo-boys!" It leans in to the 'camera.' "MAX HEADROOM here, Comman-man-mander. Been here since summer, haven't me-me-met an Andy."

... I'm sorry, I was under the impression you were using "commander" as a rank. By that definition, I guess I am a commander. Although considering it's a one-man ship...

Max doesn't blush, because computer-generated Heads just don't. And he doesn't look embarrassed at his error, because he Knows No Shame. (He leaves things like that to Edison, back home. After all, if Edison didn't have to go around making apologies for him, what would he do with all his free time?)

The screen goes dark with a *pop* and the skateboard zips out of the Sorting Room.
