Having finally found out where the Hospital Wing was, Jill makes her way up there to find Agnes, following Stephen's suggestion during Jill's Sorting that Jill talk to her.

Reaching the Hospital Wing, she knocks on the door as she looks in.

"Excuse me, is Madame Nutter here?"

Jill sketches a bow. "I'm Jill, Madame Nutter. Er, well, Gilyan, truly, but everyone calls me Jill. I've just come to Hogwarts, and during my Sorting Professor Maturin suggested I speak to you, since at home I was learning herblore and how to use that to treat sick folk, and, er, I was hoping if there's anything I could do to help with what little I do know, and to keep learning how to treat folk."

Agnes smiled warmly. Now this was more like it. "Who did you train with, where, and what did you learn, dear?" she asked, interested.

"My teacher's name is Nevyn, and the land I'm from, and where I was learning, is called Deverry," Jill replies. "I'm afraid I'm not sure exactly where it is from here, as the only other person here who's even heard of it is also from there, and also has no idea how he got here. Nevyn was teaching me about the humours and which herbs are used to balance them, poultices, splints, potions, and suchlike. We successfully treated a case of pneumonia last winter, and during the summer we tend to get a lot of broken bones and blood loss and the like from all the battles and feuds that are carried on over summer."

((And the I would give specific examples of herbs Nevyn would have taught Jill, except I'm in the middle of moving and all my books are packed away.))
