Waking up as man was a situation Sarah had some experience with. That didn't mean it was any easier, as waking up in a body clothed only in boxers in a room that wasn't hers was still enough to make her panic, but at least she was aware this was something more than a simple genderswitch. A look in the mirror confirmed she was indeed in another body ( Read more... )

((Sorry this took so long, I've been offline! ))

Leather jacket? Duh. Feeling mildly stupid for being frazzled enough to miss checking the jacket, Sarah made a detour back to Ian's room for his wand, messaging back both Lily and Ryuuji and then encountering Ellie before finally reached Gryffindor. Leaving the portrait propped open with a polite explanation of what was going ion, she ducked into the portrait hole and immediately began searching for herself.

'God, this is weird.' Not that having had to listen to herself talk in another's voice and write in another's hand had not been weird, but looking for your own body definitely ranked at the top of weirdest things ever. Finally catching sight of herself - again, too weird! - what she saw actually drew a smile of sorts from her.

"Black is your thing, isn't it?" she asked as she approached Ian, pointing to the outfit he had chosen. It wasn't even clothing she recognized as wearing often, so the digging involved was part of her amusement. Well, she was in another body, she had to find humor in something!

"So, according to my friend Lily," she said, holding up the warded note for a second, "who is a very capable witch, we're not supposed to try changing ourselves back on our own. She said no magic she knows of, and that really worries me because she knows a lot, would do this. So I've sought help elsewhere, my friend Ryuuji may well be able to fix this." No other explanation was offered as to how she had determined this as she sunk down onto a chair, rearranging longer limbs with an ease that might have been odd had she not already had to deal with a larger, masculine body before this because of an applicant's strange powers. She gave Ian a frustrated look, clearly otherwise at a loss.

Ian stood to greet...him. Her. Hell.

"Hello, Miss Williams. Yes, black is my thing. I'll bet you spent less time choosing what to wear today than you have in your entire life." He smiled. "I know Lily, and what she hasn't heard of where magic's concerned isn't likely to be something you run across every day."

He grinned as she - he - sank into the armchair. "I must say you're adjusting physically better than I. How on earth do you manage to reach things on high shelves in this body?"
