Round #001: Winners' Showcase
In first place we have Bellatrix Lestrange, a/k/a/ introject of Slytherin! Her icons all show amazing cropping and coloring, and wonderful arrangement of icon elements as well as an incredible attention to fine detail.

+ Whole concept is great. Coloring is excellent, crop is nice, text is clear. Not a flaw anywhere.
+ The coloring is beautiful and soft. I love the text and light textures.

+ I like the color, text, and scroll thingie. Its simple but elegant.
+ The colours are nice and light and it is an icon I would use myself. The writing and the scroll image are very cute.

+ Clearly the best quality icon among the three, but either way - I love the colouring and cropping, and the use of positive space is great. My only complaint is the name text, but then, that's a pet peeve of mine. Lovely job!

+ i really like the use of textures and the blue-ish coloring.
+ Concept is unique and colorful. Crop is different in a good way, and the text is clear and placed well.
+ Amazing coloring and cropping. Nice usage of text as well.
+ Love the crop and text placement
+ Lovely cropping, brilliant colouring, I love the text placement and texture usage.
+ The coloring, cropping and text really go well together.

+ i love the cropping.
+ Black and white is good choice. The crop is good, and the little flourish of color is a nice touch.
+ Simple but eye-catching because of the crop that is just enough to get an idea, and the textures used.
+ I like the crop and use of color on the B&W.
+ I love that little squiggle and the way it is half off the page. Plus it's Sirius, its all good :)
+ The crop is fantastic, the details are much clearer, there is no pointless or cliche text, and the use of textures is fantastic. This is a gorgeous black and white icon.
+ The subtle use of color and the cropping look great.

In second place, we have Albus Dumbledore, a/k/a/ music_simbol of Ravenclaw! Her icons are also incredible and well-thought out, displaying a great skill with cropping as well as a lot of originality in design.

+ The text and placement of the text are a perfect match to the picture on the icon.
+ the green flames go very nicely and bring out hers eyes making her seem that little bit mad and it is the one that best shows a sin. Also you don't really ever see Petunia icons :)
+ the Font with the green flames and the look on her face! Priceless!

+ the split screen and the use of the sepia tint intact.

In third place, we have Fred and George Weasley, a/k/a/ viridian_virtue of Ravenclaw! Her icons display a great skill for arrangement, especially typography and font choice, and a talent for coloring.
