Era of Change
This evening, I stood on Castro street next to the Castro Theater and witnessed the celebration that followed Obama winning presidency over this country. It was incredible, people everywhere screaming, drinking, dancing. All the cars passing honked for it. Helicopters, cops, and news anchors watched it happen and 92.7 blasted techno for the start to the era of change. And I was there. Our first black president. Amazing. His speech tonight was inspiring, it gave me even more confidence in his capabilities to handle the job in store for him.
