Spring Break and Baseball!!

Hey everyone. I haven't had a real update in quite some time, so I'll enlighten you all...

This past week was Spring Break, and, aside from the weather, it was fantastic! Like I said, the weather pretty much sucked, but I had a great time with the other 18 people we had in our house, and made some friendships closer than before and grew closer to Stephanie. It was just a fun fun time. I wish it wasn't over, though, but that's inevitable. It seems like just yesterday was Friday and I was just getting there and hanging out with my parents. Oh well, time to hunker down and have a good last few weeks of school, I need to make some good grades this semester.

In other news, the baseball season starts tonight!!! The Yankees and the Red Sox play tonight and the Cardinals start on Tuesday. I'm so excited! I love baseball. Last year I gave like a 7-page report on how I thought baseball would turn out last year, and boy was I wrong. Oakland over Philadelphia in 6 in the World Series? Neither of those teams even made the playoffs!! Oh well. I won't go into much detail, but here's one fan's predictions of the 2005 baseball season:

- The Braves WILL NOT win the NL East for the 87,205th time in a row. The Florida Marlins will.
- The Cardinals will win the NL Central, but it will be close. The Cubs will win the NL Wild Card.
- The Padres will win the NL West. Barry Bonds' testicles will be declared DOA due to steroid stress.
- The Yankees will win the AL East, and the Red Sox will win the AL Wild Card, but the Orioles will make a strong push, and those three will all finish within eight games of each other.
- The Indians will win the AL Central, and the Twins will have a bad year. The Tigers will make a playoff run.
- The Angels will win the AL West, with a push from the Rangers.
- The World Series will be between the Cubs and the Angels, with the Angels winning in six.
- That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Also, to all of my Catholic friends, I'm terribly sorry to hear about the Pope. Here's hoping the next one will be just as good as this one.
