New Orleans!!
First of all, readers, Happy New Year to you and yours. I hope you were safe and had a great holiday. On to news in my life.
I got into Auburn on Thursday, December 30 and chilled for awhile. The next day was fun, I got to see Stephanie for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks and we exchanged presents. We later went to a New Year's party at the Hill's trailer, that was fun. The band left for New Orleans on New Year's morning, and the trip down was fine. New Orleans was a blast! I went to Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, and of course, the Dome. I had some fine food, eating at places like Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company and Cafe du Monde. It was great. We won the Sugar Bowl over Virginia Tech in a tough 16-13 game. Came back to Auburn yesterday and chilled for awhile. I left for Huntsville today at about 3 and got in at about 6:30. Pretty good time. I'll be here 'til Friday (just because of this damn dentist appointment!) and then I'll be in Auburn for good. More updates to come later, War Eagle! #1!
