Not that I've found the culprit of my cutting-out problems (bum battery), and can focus more in battery life. So far, it looks like the longest I've gone is 11.5 hours. Not bad. Won't get me through a day, though. That tells me I'll need to carry a backup, especially at work.
Playing CDs with the CI has been a revelation. I flip between the programs to see what provides what. Program 2 -- man, it just gets hammered regularly -- offers a flat sound in which even the vocals seem to disappear into the instruments. Program 3 seems to modulate the sound the most. It's smoother, and the vocals sit well on top of the melody. I can pick up string instruments the best. Program 1 almost feels like overload, with a full spectrum of pitches coming at you. I think that is partly because I've been working with relatively docile programs the last couple of weeks. I feel that, once its all programmed and done, I'll be opted for something closer to P1, which delivers a big sound. Yeah, it sometimes feels like too much, but I'd rather adjust to that than to be satisfied with a filtered, limited experience.
