On the whole, and with the obvious reservation that lots of fine things have happened to or around me during the last 365 days, I think I am justified in saying that 2014 can die with a holy wafer in its mouth, a stake in its heart, and a fire destroying the evidence.

I'll be looking forward to seeing what 2015 has in store. Happy New Year!
