alright, so in new york we got to see the filming of a couple of scenes from a movie (duplicity) and met clive owen and ate lunch with paul giamatti. we also saw ernani at the met opera house. we ate at 83 pizza joints and the best one was the first one we saw. it was on the same block as denis' house. denis' house is biggie's old house. denis said his house was my house. so my house is biggie's old house. spike lee owns 43 buildings in brooklyn. the Q train will take you almost anywhere that you want to be. the G train will take you to the other place that you want to be, with paul giamatti. or at least it did that on tuesday. coney island and brighton beach are way cooler than i had imagined (i saw the ocean), but everything is in russian, and we didn't even know how to begin browsing stores and restaurants. manhattan is way less cool than i had imagined. brooklyn in general is just awesome. there's a place called bagel world that we went to every morning for bagels and the best coffee in ny. actually we just liked it a lot, and by thursday they knew us and asked if we were moving there.

also there's an important street in ny named Houston, pronounced Howw stun. i told denis about Howw stun and how my middle name is Heww stun, and then he said that hugo's real name is Heww stun spelled Hughston. TALK ABOUT COINCIDENCES HUH?
