ok, lets keep in mind that i have not taken a math course since high school (9 years ago), and that i took microeconomics in college (5 years ago).
although we haven't held class yet, we have homework in a few courses, including economics.
on page 3 of this homework, they start talking about differential equations and finding the limit of Q and the derivative of Y and what Y as a function of X versus a function of Z would mean for the company.
