Anyhow, glad to say that things are looking better now than they did last night. People have talked and smoothed some things over, at least for the time being. At least one of those involved should be at FFR to watch the game tonight, so hopefully everybody kisses and makes up- at least in a figurative sense. ;) This makes me muchly happy, because there are few things worse than being caught between friends at odds with one another. Choosing one side or the other just makes you a 'bad guy' in everyone's eyes eventually, so you're left playing the juggling game trying to comfort both sides until everybody cools off and starts talking again. Hopefully that cooling has sufficiently occurred, and everything will start getting back to normal now.
It's official- I'm going cruisin' in October! We booked yesterday and I'm going to be rooming with my Aunt Karen (mother's sister). Also coming for sure- my parents, my other Aunt Karen (dad's sister) and Uncle Clive, my grandparents. Maybe coming- Jon and his girlfriend, Aunt Marianne and Uncle Steve, my cousin Steven. It's a week long out of Ft. Lauderdale on the Westerdam (same ship I sailed on last time, as it works out) headed for the Eastern Carribean: Grand Turk, Tortola, St. Maarten and the Bahamas. It's been over a year since the last time I had a whole week off at once. Cant wait!
