Been really busy lately
The weekend prior to this one I helped my parents move everything except their furniture to their new house. The furniture got moved this past Monday, so they are now in the new house. It's really, really nice. Yesterday and today it was so clear that Catalina looked so close. I have been dog sitting since they are in San Diego for my dad's Naval Academy reunion. Other than that just been getting things togethor for my move. I still don't know the exact date, I have to call to find out when my carpet is coming in. It's hard to coordinate everything because I am at work all day Monday-Friday and I can't move in on the weekends (the furniture at least). It will happen eventually though. Work is good, even though things are about to change since a couple people are leaving. One person has already left since we opened. I am sad about it because I really like the people that are leaving and sad about the person that left already. Hopefully, they hire some cool people to replace them. I got a really nice letter with my paycheck this past week from the owners. They told me that I am one in a million, that they are glad that I am part of their business, and thanked me for everything that I have done. It was really sweet and made me feel really good. I have been learning a lot from them to look into eventually opening up another location. I really want to own my own business. Once I move in I will be doing that but as an online travel agency since the one thing that I don't like about my job is that I don't make a lot of money (I struggle to pay my bills every month). I just need a little more money and that would be something that I can do in the evenings and on weekends. It will be cool. I can't wait to move into my new place. I took some things over there today and met my next door neighbors, they are really cool. I was over there a couple weeks ago and found out that I know someone that is moving there too. So I already know one of my neighbors really well. We had an impromptu party, which was a lot of fun. Well better get back to packing. Later.
