Ugh
Ok so I have been bored out of my mind at work for the past month. My boss had her hip replaced so she hasn't been in, which means that I have almost nothing to do. My days are really long. The only cool thing was that she let me leave early this afternoon. Today has really sucked other than that. I have been writing to this guy that seemed like he could be a strong possibility for me for a couple weeks now. Today out of the blue he tells me that he met someone this past weekend and won't be in contact with me anymore. I was really bummed when I heard that, we have a lot in common and he seemed like a really cool person. I just read my mail and found out that I didn;t get this position at a travel agency that I really, really wanted. They hired someone with more experience-I feel like screaming because I have heard that so many times before. I am really bummed that I didnt get this position because the travel industry is really hard to get into and this was a trainee position (which are extremely rare). Most companies want 5 years experience. The only good thing was that the lady that I had the interview wished me luck on my job search and said that she loved my professionalism. It is the only time that I have had any kind of positive reaction from an interview. I am so bummed that I didn't get the job though.
