And life gets more interesting
So it hasn't actually been too long since my last update. I'm proud of myself, lol. I'm supposed to be in Ottawa with my family today, but I convinced them that I didn't want to go (mainly because they are going shopping and I'm currently out of money). And now my computer is not working. So I'm downstairs on the family computer. I'm thinking the stupid thing might have a virus or something, because I was on it earlier, and went to post something on the ABC MB and it just stopped working. Wouldn't let me do anything. Turned it off and when I went to try to reboot it it refuses to turn back on or something. Grrr. So this computer it is.
I think things with Shae have gotten worse. It was her birthday last week and she had repeatedly told me she was going to be out of town for it, taking some vacation time and going to visit an aunt. It's been that since like May (long before the problems started) so I assumed she wasn't around. Now I found out from my former friend Kathryn's nickname, that Shae was in fact in town and went out to the bar drinking with friends. Was I invtied? No. Was Melissia invited? No. And from the sounds of the nickname, I think Kathryn and her just ran into eachother. So it's official, Shae didn't invite me, who has been her best friend since grade 9 to her 22nd birthday celebration, she'd rather go out drinking with these new people that are obviously a negative influence on her life. I called her a couple of days ago, and haven't heard back from her sense. If I don't, I'm dropping it. There's no way I'm going to continue to be the one making all the effort while she does nothing at all. I deserve better than that. So if she doesn't call me back, it's over. At least until she wakes up and tries to fix things herself. Because I'm not doing the desperate holding on thing. I have other friends, who do call me back. And I have plenty of online friends as sad as that it too admit, who needs a girl who would rather get drunk?
Okay done that rant. Besides that, my life is still going well. This week has been good. Monday I went to Matt's house and Dave and Ian came over. It has really been ages since I've seen both of them (well I saw Ian around the time Sean moved but lots of people were there so we didn't get to chat much). It was a good day, just relaxing and playing video games. Ian left around 5 for work, the remaining three made supper for Matt's family. And then we went to the store and Timmy's. Then more relaxing at Matt's. Tuesday I went to Matt's again, but just me this time. Very good day. He was in a cuddly mood, which I always love. We watched Scary Movie 4, which was an okay movie. And then went to his ball game after supper (they lost). Yesterday I spent the day lazying around, went out for supper at a German place with my family and then Matt's ball game again. (they won) After the game me, Matt, Dupuis and Adam (they're on his team) went to Wendy's and hung out. It was fun.
Now I work tonight till 9:30 and tomorrow night till 9:30. I'm thinking I'm going to see if Stacey and Melissa want to go out and get hammered after work tomorrow. It's been too long. Saturday I have nothing going on till I have to pick Matt up at work at 5 and spend my evening with him. Sunday I work 1-4 and will be watching GA at night. And that's it, at least for now.
Anyway that's it for me. I'm going to go read and catch up on your lives now.
