Steve Yzerman's #19 was retired by Detroit tonight. Good man that Stevie Y...but an hour of presenting...eeesh. At least they actually are playing hockey now. Anaheim and Detroit...I really could care less who wins.
So the other day I bought From Under the Cork Tree, A Beautiful Lie, and Big Shiny Tunes 11. I know..the songs are old and I could download them...but I'm done with DLing things. I want to have a CD collection I can display when I am older with all the music I listened to growing up. Somehow throwing an MP3 or iPod on a desk just will not suffice for my lifelong music collection.
So it looks like I found my hobby. Fucking finally.
It is to build a music collection of my favourite albums. Pricey I guess...but its the only damn thing I could think of which not many other people do. Well maybe they do. But not many I know anyways. Everyone is about the internet and iPods.
My problem with iPods. They are excessive! Who the hell needs to hold 10,000 songs? Honestly! All it is is a matter of convenience for the owner and is also slowly becoming a status icon. I'm surprised no one talks to other people as if they automatically own one. Many tech websites do. And then there is an iPod video. WHY! And I even know people with more than one iPod which they received as a gift and won't give it away or offer it to someone else for a price, but pack it away. WHY! Completely unnecessary. Then we have the people who have headphones hanging out of their ears 24/7, while talking to others. Ugh.
Anyways I am going to get back to HNIC Tuesday edition.
