Part of Imagine was about a society without religion and class (truly as Marxist as it can be).
So either way, whoever wrote these lyrics is a poor sod who should've done his homework on the short-bus instead of not doing it all.

His song takes away hope if you ask me and this song is a response to his 'Imagine.' All Thrice is doing is pointing out the logical flaws in his argument. You know, like reading 1984 and then writing an essay about dystopian societies in grade 11.

Lullaby beats Imagine purely on my interpretation of the lyrics, which is obviously different from your own. No point in trying to change my mind.
